Laurie White is a writer, editor, and photographer who discovered online storytelling in 2005 and hasn't looked back. A founding contributing editor at BlogHer.com and 2008 Voice of the Year, she has written for MamaPop, Babble, and TueNight, among other sites. She is the Community+Communications Manager for the Mom 2.0 Summit, connecting digital creators, marketers, and media around great ideas and online conversations. Best job ever. Originally a (and still a part-time) college counselor and professor, she holds master's degrees in counseling from the University of Dayton and online journalism from the University of Maryland, College Park.
