She has been awarded with the Rising Star Award and the Women in Business Award, among many others, being the first Latina in obtaining these honors from New York Women in Communications, Inc. and Folio Magazine, respectively. Cristy has participated in Nuestra Belleza Latina (Univision), The Today Show (NBC) and is the NY entertainment and lifestyle correspondent for Showbiz (CNN en Español) and Despierta América on a weekly basis. She also has an international certification to teach Kundalini Yoga and is a reiki practitioner.
