Sandra Echeverría
The beautiful Sandra Echeverría is a talented actress, singer and songwriter from
Mexico City. The actress became a star in Mexico, Latin America, Southeast Asia, and Europe as a result of her series lead roles in the international hits El Clon and Marina, both of which were seen in over 120 countries. She followed these successes with the lead role in the Univision’s international ratings record breaker, La Fuerza del Destino. Sandra’s first single off her self-titled album was the title song of La Fuerza del Destino, a duet with Marc Anthony that was heard on radio stations in the U.S. and Latin America.
On the feature side, Sandra starred with Blake Lively, Benicio Del Toro, and John
Travolta in Oliver Stone’s Savages, in which she played Salma Hayek’s rebellious daughter.
Sandra was also featured in Will Ferrell’s Casa de mi Padre, playing his mother in a pivotal
flashback. In 2014 she lent her vocal talents to the animated film, The Book of Life, produced by Guillermo del Toro. Sandra made her U.S. television debut on the Peabody Award winning FX Network series The Bridge.
Sandra had an incredibly busy 2014, starring in the hit Latin American films Cambio de
Ruta, Quiero ser Fiel, Volando Bajo, and Amor de mis Amores. In 2015 Sandra produced her
first film, Busco Novio para mi Mujer, which she also stars in. The film will be released
throughout Latin America on February 12, 2016, and Pantelion Films is releasing it in the U.S. on February 19. Sandra is currently voicing a role in Universal Pictures’ The Secret Life of Pets
opposite Kevin Hart, Louis CK, and Eric Stonestreet. The film will be released on July 8, 2016.
Sandra continues to be a global icon, having recently graced the covers of the Latin American
editions of GQ, Cosmopolitan, and Women’s Health.
